Do you have a reception desk, or will I need to check in myself?

You will need to self check in, as there is no reception desk.
Prior to your arrival, you will receive detailed instructions on how to access your apartment.

Please contact us if your arrival date is approaching and you have not yet received the welcome pack.

What is the Check in and Check out time?

Check in time is after 3:00 p.m.

Check out time is at 11:00 a.m.

Early check-in can be arranged upon request, provided the apartment is ready.
Late check-out may be available at an additional cost, subject to availability and if there is no reservation on the same day.

Please let us know your approximate arrival time in advance.

Is there a local tourist tax I need to pay?

Yes. Like all properties in Greece, we are required by law to collect a Climate Crisis Resilience Fee (known locally as TAAK). This is a small contribution that goes directly toward protecting the Greek environment and local infrastructure.

How much? For our studios, it is €1.50 per night during the summer season (March–October).
How do I pay? This fee is not included in your online booking total. It is payable locally in cash or by card during your check-in or check-out.

What is your cancellation policy?

We offer Free Cancellation up until 14 days before your check-in date. If you cancel within that 14-day window, the full booking amount is non-refundable. We try to be as fair as possible while ensuring we can keep our small property running smoothly!

Is there parking available ?

Yes! Kamini Apartments provides a convenient, open-air private parking area right in our yard for our guests. While spaces are technically subject to availability and cannot be reserved in advance, our parking area is spacious enough that our guests typically have no trouble finding a spot for their vehicle.

How do I get to Kamini Apartments from the airport?

The easiest way is by car or taxi (approx. 50–60 minutes).

Alternatively, you can take the Green Bus (Line B15) from the airport to the city terminal, and then catch the bus to Kavos, getting off at the ‘Ekati’ stop (100m from Kamini Apartments).

We are also happy to help you coordinate a private transfer.

How far are you from the Port of Lefkimmi?

We are just 3.7 km (about a 5–7 minute drive) from Lefkimmi Port. Please note there is no public bus from the port, so a taxi is recommended.

Is it noisy at night?

While the center of Kavos is famous for its nightlife, Kamini Apartments is located in a quiet area on the outskirts. You can enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep while still being a short walk away from the local action.

What are your quiet hours and party policies?

To maintain our peaceful seaside atmosphere, we observe quiet hours from 22:00 to 07:00. Please note that parties and large gatherings are strictly prohibited at Kamini Apartments. We are an accomodation property designed for relaxation, and we thank you for helping us keep the environment calm for all our guests.

Are pets allowed?

Yes! Kamini Apartments are pet-friendly and welcome well-behaved pets. We just ask that you contact us in advance, as pets are not allowed without prior notice. To ensure a comfortable stay for everyone, please keep your pet on a leash in common areas and take full responsibility for your pet’s hygiene. Please note that a cleaning fee applies for stays with pets.

How often is the apartment cleaned?

We provide daily cleaning—including tidying up, mopping, and trash removal—to keep your stay comfortable. Our cleaning staff typically takes a day off on Sundays, unless we have new guests arriving that day. Additionally, we provide fresh towels every two days and change your bed linens every three days.

Are there mini markets and restaurants within walking distance?

Yes! You will find various restaurants and beach bars just a 5–10 minute walk away. There are also mini markets conveniently located within the same walking distance, making it easy to pick up groceries and daily essentials during your stay.

Can we swim at the beach in front of Kamini Apartments?

Yes! You have direct access to the sea right from our garden. While there is no longer sand on the beach and you may find some algae on the shore, the water itself is clean, shallow, and very warm. For the best experience, you can enter the water directly from our pier; the sea bottom is sandy and perfect for a comfortable swim.

Is there Wi-Fi on the property?

Yes! We offer free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the entire property. You can find the network names and passwords inside your welcome folder upon arrival, as well as displayed in a frame inside your apartment for easy access.

Can I smoke in the room?

Smoking is strictly restricted inside all of our apartments and studios to keep them fresh for all guests. You are welcome to smoke on your private balcony or terrace with respect to your neighbours.

What should I do with my trash?

Our cleaning staff empties the indoor bins daily to keep your apartment fresh. For your convenience, you will find trash bins in both the kitchen and the bathroom; please use these for all waste and avoid throwing paper or other objects into the toilet. If you have extra trash to dispose of, you are welcome to use the large communal bins located in the garden.
